New Delhi: Newly elected Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA from Patparganj, Ravinder Singh Negi, levelled a big allegation against former deputy chief minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia. Negi alleged that when he reached the MLA office in his constituency he found out that air conditioners, TVs, chairs and other things were missing. The BJP MLA accused Sisodia of stealing electronic items and furniture from the government office.
A video of Negi visiting the office, previously held by Sisodia, was shared by the MLA on his X handle. In the video, Negi said, "Ye dekhiye sab khali. Kursi, table sab le gye. Yeh chor log hain chor. Itni sharm nahi hai inlogon ko jo doosra vidhayak baitheha woh kahaan baithega. Itne Bhrashtachari hain yeh log (Look, nothing is there. Chairs, tables they have taken everything. They (Manish Sisodia an AAP) are thieves. They did not think where will new MLA will sit. These are corrupt people.).
"Former MLA @msisodia of Patparganj from Aam Aadmi Party had shown his true face even before the elections. Items like AC, TV, table, chair and fan were stolen from the Vidhansabha camp office. Their corruption has not crossed all limits yet. Now they have become experts in the politics of hiding their reality and stealing. We will protect the rights of the people and expose such corrupt people," Negi tweeted.

The Patpargang MLA also alleged that around 250 chairs were missing from the hall of the office. Notably, the Patparganj seat was previously held by Sisodia. Who also served as the deputy CM of Delhi. However, he resigned from the post after the arrest in the alleged liquor excise policy scam.
Last week, the BJP claimed that Arvind Kejriwal renamed the official X handle of the Delhi Chief Minister's Office (CMO) to 'Arvind Kejriwal at work' (@kejriwalAtWork). Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva accused AAP national convenor of "stealing" the digital property of the Delhi government.
Notably, the account was deleted later. The Delhi BJP chief had also sought Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena's help to seek a report from the Delhi government’s IT and social media departments over the alleged renaming of the Delhi CMO's social media handles.
In the recently concluded assembly polls, the BJP came back to power in Delhi after 27 years. The saffron party secured 48 seats, while the AAP bagged 22. The BJP is yet to make a decision on the next chief minister.
