Reel Turns Tragic: Woman Drowns In Ganga At Uttarkashi's Manikarnika Ghat While Making Video; Disturbing Visuals Surface

Uttarkashi: Nowadays people are putting their lives in danger just for some views and likes on social media. In one such incident, a woman drowned in the Ganga River while making a reel in Uttarakhand's Uttarkashi. The incident was caught on camera. The disturbing video also surfaced online.

The incident took place at the Manikarnika ghat. The video shows the woman going deep inside the water to make a reel. Suddenly she slipped. Due to the strong water current, the woman swept away.

In the video, her child could be heard shouting "mummy" when she slipped into the water. So far, the police have not recovered the body of the woman.

Famous Influencer Died While Making Reel:

In July last year, Mumbai resident and famous travel influencer, Aanvi Kamdar (26), died after tragically falling into a gorge while shooting an Instagram Reel at Kumbhe waterfall near Raigad in Maharashtra. Aanvi was a famous Instagram influencer and was majorly known for her videos on travel content. Aanvi Kamdar fell into the 350-foot gorge while filming a reel with her friends on July 16.

Aanvi was recovered from the gorge after the rescue operation was carried out for about 6 hours. She was seriously injured due to the fall and was taken to a nearby hospital. Aanvi succumbed to her injuries while receiving treatment at the hospital.
