Jaipur: Accusing Rahul Gandhi of propagating the agenda of Khalistanis and playing into the hands of anti-national forces, former BJP state president and MP from Rajasthan CP Joshi has demanded cancellation of Rahul Gandhi's passport.
In a letter to the Lok Sabha Speaker OM Birla, CP Joshi said that Rahul Gandhi's baseless speeches are tarnishing the country's image and cannot be seen within the scope of freedom of expression.
“Having someone like Rahul Gandhi on the post of leader of the opposition is a threat to the security of the country. Looking at their activities it becomes clear that they are playing into the hands of anti-national forces,” said Joshi in his letter.
Demanding Rahul's resignation, Joshi has said that Rahul should resign from the post of Leader of Opposition and If he wants to continue, his passport should be canceled to stop him using the foreign land to carry out anti-India agenda.
Terming Rahul's speeches in other countries as anti-national, Joshi said, his statements are not political but purely fall under the ambit of anti-national activities. This makes his conduct suspicious. Apart from the internal stability of the country and security of borders, international relations can also be affected as he is misusing his position.

“Making a statement regarding the Sikh community, which has suffered the brunt of terrorism for decades, is the worst example and shows that he want to strengthen the agenda of Khalistani separatists in Canada and America,” said Joshi.
Responding to the Joshi's letter, state Congress President Govind Singh Dotasara said that there is a competition among BJP leaders to cross the heights of sycophancy. This letter is an example of this. BJP leaders should not teach respect and security of the nation to the family that has made two sacrifices for the country.
