Chandigarh: The Border Security Force (BSF) on Friday claimed to have seized over 7.4 kg of ICE drug (methamphetamine, also known as crystal meth, a highly addictive illegal drug) - valued in crores of rupees in the international market – in Amritsar border area.
According to reports, the contraband was sent from Pakistan through a drone which was neutralised by BSF in the fields of Mode village Amritsar around 2.30 am.
According to BSF it was around 2.30 am, a thorough search of the suspected dropped zone led to the recovery of one assembled drone along with a black bag tied to it which had seven packets of ICE.
ICE is a party drug with reportedly huge demand in rave parties in metros.
