Over 1,500 Temple Administrations To Gather In Tirupati For ITCX 2025; Maharashtra Leads In Temple Participation With 179 Entries

International Temples Convention & Expo (ITCX) 2025, the world’s largest conclave for temple administration and management, will be hosted in Tirupati from February 17 to 19. The gathering of 1581 religious organisations from 58 countries will also attempt to create a world record in the Guiness Book Of World Records for being the largest temple convention.

Mumbai: International Temples Convention & Expo (ITCX) 2025, the world’s largest conclave for temple administration and management, will be hosted in Tirupati from February 17 to 19. The gathering of 1581 religious organisations from 58 countries will also attempt to create a world record in the Guiness Book Of World Records for being the largest temple convention.

After the successful maiden edition of the ITCX 2023 in Kashi, the second edition of the international convention will be hosted in Tirupati as the world's biggest international temples convention and expo. The 'Mahakumbh of Temples' aims to explore innovative approaches and best practices of temple management, focusing on sustainable ecosystems, digitalization, and strategies to enhance temple-based economics.

About International Temples Convention & Expo 2025

ITCX is an initiative by Temple Connect, an organisation striving to document, digitise and distribute about Hindu, Jain, Sikh and Buddha temples across the world. The second edition of ITCX will unite institutions representing various religions to offer a dynamic platform to network, strengthen and modernise temple ecosystems worldwide, while also celebrating their rich cultural heritage.

The convention is expected to see a hybrid participation from around 1,581 devotional institutions from across 58 countries, and will feature more than 111 speakers, 15 workshops and knowledge sessions along with over 60 stalls. With 179 temples, Maharashtra will be the major participant at ITCX 2025 followed by Karnataka.

The convention will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, workshops, and masterclasses covering diverse crucial aspects of temple management and pilgrim experience enhancement. Topics span a comprehensive range of temple operations, from fund management and crowd control to sustainability and security protocols, with special emphasis on modernising temple management through Al, digital tools, and fintech solutions.

Statement Of Giresh Kulkarni, Founder Of Temple Connect & ITCX

Giresh Kulkarni, founder of Temple Connect and ITCX, said, "ITCX is a movement aimed at revolutionising temple ecosystems through innovation and sustainability. As India emerges as the global epicenter of devotion and spiritual tourism, there is a pressing need to organise, empower, and systematise temple operations to make them future-ready. By implementing smart management strategies, we can ensure they remain vibrant centers of spirituality, tradition, and community development."

ITCX provides administrators and policymakers with the necessary tools to enhance efficiency while preserving a temple's legacy.”

ITCX 2025 will also see the marquee launch of the 'Smart Temples Mission' and 'Smart Temples Mission Awards' that will recognise and felicitate the best temples from across the globe in 12 distinct categories. Member of Rajya Sabha Sudhanshu Trivedi, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, Kerala Governor Rajendra Arlekar among others are expected to participate in the event.
