New Delhi: BJP MP Jagdambika Pal on Monday hit out at the Opposition ahead of the Monsoon Session of Parliament, claiming they have "no real issues" and are instead choosing to disrupt the House, wasting both time and the public's money.

Speaking to ANI, Pal said, "The Speaker gives time to raise all issues (in the House). In such a situation, disrupting the House is a waste of the public's hard-earned money and a waste of the House's time. They (the opposition) can ask questions, they can hold the government accountable, but despite this, they have no real issue."

He added, "Rahul Gandhi has so far blamed EVMs for his defeat, and now he is raising questions on the voter list in Bihar. I think there is no real issue. I hope the House will run smoothly."

The remarks came ahead of the upcoming monsoon session of Parliament, which begins on Monday and will run till August 21. The government is expected to present a comprehensive legislative agenda, featuring multiple bills for discussion and passage.

Some of the key bills include -- Manipur Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Bill of 2025, Taxation Laws (Amendment) Bill of 2025, Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Bill 2025, the Indian Institutes of Management (Amendment) bill 2025, the Geoheritage Sites and Geo-relics (Preservation and Maintenance) bill 2025, the Mines and Mines (Development and Regulation) Amendment Bill 2025, the National Sports Governance Bill 2025 and the National Anti-Doping (Amendment) Bill 2025.
