New Delhi: At least 100 terrorists were killed in the Operation Sindoor launched by the Indian Armed Forces targeting terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK), Defence Minister Rajnath Singh told the Opposition leaders during the all-party meet, according to media reports citing sources. Meanwhile, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said that Operation Sindoor is still underway.

"Today, the all-party meeting was held under the chairmanship of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. All the leaders put forward their views seriously. First of all, the Defence Minister gave information to all the leaders about Operation Sindoor and the situation," Rijiju stated.

“After this, everyone gave their opinion and also gave suggestions. All the leaders also congratulated the forces. Everyone said that we will support the government with unity and will support the army in every action... I thank all the leaders, and this was a positive meeting,” he added.

The Parliamentary Affairs minister said that more details about Operation Sindoor could not be revealed as the action is still on.

Notably, a day after Operation Sindoor multiple explosions were reported across Pakistan on Thursday. The attacks were reported in Pakistani cities including Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi and Gujranwala.

These explosions in Pakistani cities were reported a day after India carried out Operation Sindor targeting nine terror camps in Pakistan and PoK in retaliation to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack in which 26 people, mostly tourists, were killed.

India released details and videos of the precision strikes. New Delhi confirmed that no civilian or military installations were targeted.
