BJP leader Manoharlal Dhakad is already in the spotlight for his controversial video, and now, another video of Kamal Raghuwanshi, a BJP leader from Sivni Malwa (Madhya Pradesh), has resurfaced on social media. The clip, reportedly from a wedding ceremony on 29th April (Tuesday), shows Raghuwanshi engaging in objectionable behaviour with a female dancer.
The event was attended by a large crowd, including local residents and local politicians. However, many guests reportedly left midway in protest after being disgusted by the BJP leader’s actions.
In the viral video, the female dancer is seen performing when Raghuwanshi begins acting inappropriately with her and tries to kiss her. Some attendees recorded the incident, and the footage is now widely circulating online. Shockingly, children can also be seen in the background, witnessing the leader’s behaviour.
This is not the first such incident involving a BJP leader. Earlier, Baban Singh Raghuwanshi, a BJP leader from Ballia (UP), was embroiled in a similar scandal after an obscene video surfaced. In the video, he was seen groping a dancer girl at a marriage event in Bihar.
With back-to-back controversies involving BJP leaders, the party is now facing severe criticism from opposition parties.
Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinate took a dig at the BJP in an X (Twitter) post on Saturday, stating, "The country is stunned by the disgraceful acts of BJP leaders in recent days. First, UP’s Baban Singh Raghuwanshi, then MP’s Manoharlal Dhakad, and now Kamal Raghuwanshi from Narmadapuram. Are these the men we trust to protect our daughters?"
