Tej Pratap Yadav reached Anushka Yadav’s home around 9 AM on Monday. The meeting lasted nearly seven hours, and he departed at around 4 PM. This marks the first direct interaction between the two since their viral photos surfaced. As he left, journalists questioned him about the purpose of the visit, to which he replied, "We have a family relationship... We keep meeting everyone. No one can stop me from coming and going."

When asked when he would take Anushka home, he chose not to respond, instead closing his car door and driving away.

On 24th May, photos and videos of Tej Pratap and Anushka had gone viral on social media. The next day, Lalu Yadav expelled Tej Pratap from both the party and the family. Following this, Tej Pratap had posted about his past relationship on Facebook.

In an interview with a TV channel, he said, "So what if I fell in love? There’s nothing wrong in that. No one can erase me from the hearts of the public." He also admitted that the viral photos were the same ones he had posted himself. However, he later found himself in controversy after claiming that "someone else had shared them."
