Kolkata: Three Trinamool Congress leaders Firhad Hakim, Subrata Mukherjee, Madan Mitra and former TMC minister Sovan Chatterjee appeared before CBI court over the Narada bribery case.

According to the lawyers, the heavyweight leaders were scheduled to appear before the court on June 4, after granting bail on May 17, the lower court had asked the four leaders to be present before the court today.

Notably, all the four leaders were there in the court for 10-15 minutes.

Baisakhi Banerjee, close aide of Sovan Chatterjee, said that she has full faith in the law.

It can be recalled that on May 17, TMC ministers Firhad Hakim and Subrata Mukherjee along with TMC legislature Madan Mitra and former TMC minister Sovan Chatterjee were arrested by the CBI from their residence and despite getting bail from the lower court the CBI approached the Calcutta High Court which had stayed the bail and had sent the leaders to judicial custody and then later to house arrest.

On May 28, the larger division of Calcutta High Court had granted interim bail to all the leaders.
