New Delhi : Third day into office, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday took a round of the PMO in South Block, meeting the staff and enquiring about the facilities available to them.

“Took a round of the PMO on reaching South Block this morning,” he tweeted later and posted a photograph on his twitter account showing him with officials and other staff.

A PMO statement said Modi enquired about the functioning of the sections and the facilities available for the functioning of the staff.

On Wednesday, he held a formal meeting with officials of the PMO, laying thrust on leveraging modern technology and developing systems and processes for effective monitoring and resolution of issues which are particularly brought to his office.
