Massive Fire Breaks Out In Uttarakhand's Haridwar, Several Vehicles Gutted (Video)

A massive fire broke out in Uttarakhand's Haridwar on Friday. Several vehicles gutted in the blaze that erupted in the Bahadarabad area of the district.

Haridwar: A massive fire broke out in Uttarakhand's Haridwar on Friday. The blaze erupted in the Bahadarabad area of the district. Several vehicles were reportedly gutted in the fire.

After receiving the information, fire tenders reached the spot. A firefighting operation was launched. Senior officials also rushed to the place where the blaze erupted. The fire was later brought under control.

As per Fire Officer Kuldeep Kumar, the blaze erupted due to a short circuit. "Fire broke out in several junk warehouses due to a short circuit. We have controlled the fire," Kumar told news agency ANI.

The extent of collateral damage due to fire is yet to be ascertained. No injuries have been reported.
