Ahmednagar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi in in Maharashtra and announced that he will visit Ahmednagar to address a public rally in Kakadi village in Shirdi on Wednesday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also said that he will take part in the public meeting only after praying at the Shri Saibaba Samadhi Temple in Shirdi. PM Narendra Modi will also inaugurate various projects in Ahmednagar.
Heavy deployment of security personnel
The preparations for the public rally of Prime Minister Narendra Modi have reached the final stages and a heavy deployment of security personnel is seen ahead of his visit to the village. The locals are protesting against the Prime Minister's visit and are returning the buses that came to the villages to take the people to the rally. A video is doing rounds on social media in which it can be seen that empty buses are returned by the protestors.

The protestors of the Sakal Marathi Kranti Morcha are sending the buses empty that are coming to pick up the people for the rally. They are protesting against the Prime Minister and are boycotting his rally over the issue of Maratha reservation. There are reports that around one thousand buses have been deployed in the state to carry people to the rally, out of which many buses are sent empty by the protestors.
Jal Pujan of Nilwande Dam
Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to his official social media account and said, "Will be in Shirdi, Maharashtra. After praying at the Shri Saibaba Samadhi Temple, I will take part in a public meeting, where development works worth over Rs. 7500 crores would either be inaugurated or their foundation stones would be laid. These works are from key sectors like health, rail, road, oil and gas. I will have the honour of taking part in the Jal Pujan of Nilwande Dam as well."
PM Narendra Modi's Ahmednagar visit schedule
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to arrive in Shirdi at around 1 PM and will perform Puja at the Shri Saibaba Samadhi Temple. PM will perform the Jalpuja of Nilavande Dam at 2 PM and will inaugurate the dam for the public. After that, PM Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of various development projects at 3.15 PM. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to leave for Goa at 6.30 PM.
