Whenever elections take place in the country, people eagerly await counting day with as much enthusiasm as the immediate release of exit polls right after voting ends.

News organisations and survey agencies have begun releasing their exit polls as the final phase of voting for the Lok Sabha elections concludes nationwide.

Everyone is keen to know the number of seats predicted by the survey agencies for the NDA and the INDIA Bloc.

However, this time, the political observers are keeping a keen eye on Odisha sate, where the BJP has aggressively campaigned to strengthen its presence in the state.

Polling Phases

Odisha has a total of 21 Lok Sabha seats, with voting spread across four phases of the general elections. Voting was conducted for four seats each in the fourth phase, five seats in the fifth phase, six seats each in the sixth and seventh phases.

2019 Results

In the 2019 election, the BJD won 12 seats, BJP secured 8 seats, and Congress obtained one seat.

2014 Results

In 2014, the BJD won 20 seats, Congress got 1 seats, and the BJP couldn't even open its tally here.
