Travel Vlogger & YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra, was arrested by Civil Lines police in Hisar, Haryana on charges of spying for Pakistan and sharing sensitive information. Following her confession, she was remanded to police custody for five days, with the Economic Offences Wing now handling the case.

A day after her arrest, photos of her with a man who carried a cake at Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi, two days after the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam have emerged on micro-blogging website X.

In video, the man can be seen carrying a cake to the Pakistani High Commission, while he is surrounded by the media questioning him about the purpose of his visit and what the celebration is for which he is bringing a cake. The same man has been spotted in one of the videos uploaded on Jyoti's YouTube channel.

Amid a nationwide crackdown on those involved in espionage activities,11 people have been arrested in the last three days on charges of spying for Pakistan in multiple states. Among the most prominent arrests made was of Jyoti Malhotra.

The accused were lured into the spy network through social media, monetary incentives, false promises, messaging apps and personal visits to Pakistan.
