Jharkhand's Karni Sena President Vinay Kumar Singh Found Dead With Bullet Injury In Jamshedpur; Police Investigating All Angles

The body of 'Kshatriya Karni Sena' state president Vinay Kumar Singh was found in Jharkhand's Jamshedpur city on Sunday. Singh was reportedly found with a bullet injury to the head and a pistol in the left hand.

Jamshedpur: The body of 'Kshatriya Karni Sena' state president Vinay Kumar Singh was found in Jharkhand's Jamshedpur city on Sunday. Singh had reportedly been missing since Sunday morning. Singh was found with a bullet injury to the head and a pistol in the left hand, reported ANI quoting Jameshpur Police.

As per the police, Singh had gone incommunicado since yesterday morning. After the complaint, his mobile location was traced and the body was recovered.

Police Statement:

Singh, along with a few others, was returning home when the gunmen opened fire near a hotel on National Highway-33, killing him on the spot, reported PTI quoting a police official.

A detailed investigation has been launched into the matter. So far no arrests have been made.
