India is on the path to become a global giant for power solutions as imports from Turkey, China and Italy have gone down, said Numeric’s chief business officer Ravindran SK. He also claimed that domestic manufacturing is expected to see a boost with India’s booming data center market, rising energy efficiency demands, and the digital infrastructure push across industries.

The future for Indian power solution providers seems to be bright as more and more Indian manufacturers have indulged in innovative high-tech products. Additionally, more and more Indian companies are now also exporting their products. The latest addition in this segment is Legrand’s Indian subsidiary Numeric, which will export its newly launched UPS systems for the first time as it completes 40 years.

At its annual channel partner meet in Jaipur, to bring together top-performing partners and associates, Numeric launched two new UPS solutions including Keor MOD+, which is an advanced modular UPS designed for edge computing and data center environments and Premius Edge, which is a compact, high-performance single-phase UPS ideal for IT, healthcare, and office applications. Both of these will be their first products to be exported to its group brands across the world by the Chennai-based company.

Numeric also previewed a teaser of a third flagship product, which has been manufactured by its group brand and will be imported to India by them. The Keor FLEX is a 3-phase modular UPS powered by silicon carbide technology which is scalable up to 4.8 MW. While the company pressed on innovation, it claimed that these products underscore its strategic focus on sustainability and the future of digital infrastructure.

Ravindran S.K., chief business officer at Numeric, said, “In India, we are pretty much everywhere as our products are used at airports, metro stations, government offices and medical facilities. Now, these two products will take us, through our group brands, to around 180 countries. This is just the beginning as the future of the Indian UPS solution industry is very bright.”

Koushik Ram, Numeric’s country head of marketing and strategy projects, said, “We are the leaders in providing integrated isolation transformers in our products. These innovations are particularly relevant in the context of India’s booming data center market, rising energy efficiency demands, and the digital infrastructure push across industries.”
