The Indian Medical Association (IMA) on Friday began a nation-wide protest, seeking a central law to protect doctors against violence. According to Dr. JA Jayalal the National President of the IMA, 3.5 lakh doctors of IMA will take part in the protest. Visuals from AIIMS show a large group standing outside the hospital gates holding placards and chanting slogans.
