Ranchi: Three jawans of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were injured in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast in Jharkhand's Chaibasa. The injured soldiers were airlifted to Ranchi for medical treatment.
"Three CRPF jawans injured in an IED blast in Chaibasa. Injured Jawans are being airlifted to Ranchi for medical treatment," SP Chaibasa said as reported by ANI.
There are no reports of any casualties.

Last month, a CRPF jawan lost both his legs in an improvised anti-personnel pressure mine trigger. the CRPF personnel was on an area domination exercise in the Aranpur police station limits and accidently put foot on an anti-pressure mine laid by Naxalites.
Earlier in the same area in January this year, the Naxalites blew up a vehicle carrying 9 jawans and a driver by triggering 50 kg IED planted deep in the road. It led to the death of all security personnel.
