'He Could Be Next...': Atishi Comments On Raghav Chadha's Political Future

AAP MLA Atishi claimed Raghav Chadha may join the BJP, accusing him of refusing to oppose the party line and stay silent on issues like West Bengal vote theft and the LPG crisis. New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA and Leader of the Opposition in the Delhi Assembly, Atishi on Friday made bold claims regarding AAP leader Raghav Chadha, stating that he may join the BJP soon.

"Our country is going through a crisis today. Democracy and the Constitution are being attacked. Vote theft is being done in West Bengal elections... The entire opposition is speaking against it. The TMC brings an impeachment motion, but Raghav Chadha refuses to sign it... He refuses to walk out of the house," she said, as quoted by news agency ANI.

"The LPG crisis is affecting every common man's life. When the party tells Raghav Chadha to address that, he refuses to speak. He is scared to speak against the BJP and PM Modi... Many leaders of the opposition got scared and joined the BJP. Raghav Chadha could be next," she added.

Bhagwant Mann Claims Raghav Chadha Is "Compromised"

Besides, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann also slammed AAP MP Raghav Chadha and said he believes Chadha is "compromised", pointing out that he has gone against the party whip.

Raghav Chadha Reacts After He Was Removed From RS Post

Earlier in the day, Chadha, in a video message, alleged that the party was silencing his voice. This comes a day after he was removed from the post of Rajya Sabha deputy leader and the party requested the Secretariat not to allow him floor time.
