Patan: At least six people died after an autorickshaw crashed into a bus in Gujarat’s Patan on Thursday. The accident took place on the Sami-Radhanpur highway. Several people were also injured in the incident.

The accident reportedly occurred at around 11.30 am near Sami village of the district. The state road transport bus was going towards Kutch from Himmatnagar, while the three-wheeler was coming from the opposite direction, Patan District Superintendent of Police V K Nayi told PTI.

"All six persons travelling in the autorickshaw, including the driver, died on the spot. The impact was so intense that the mangled remains of the auto got stuck underneath the bus," said Nayi.
