A purported chat between YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra and a Pakistani intelligence officer surfaced on Wednesday. Malhotra has been accused of spying for Pakistan and sharing sensitive information. Reportedly, Malhotra’s WhatsApp chats with Ali Hasan, who worked for the Inter Services Intelligence (ISI), have surfaced, wherein the YouTuber praised Pakistan and expressed her wish to get married there.

Malhotra, who was based in Haryana's Hisar and ran a YouTube channel named 'Travel with Jo', was arrested last week. Reportedly, she was in constant touch with Ali Hasan, who worked for ISI, the spy agency of Pakistan. The duo used to chat a lot, according to reports quoting sources.

“Get me married in Pakistan", Jyoti reportedly wrote in one of her messages to Hasan, in response to his good wishes for her.

“Jo (Jyoti), I pray you stay happy always, may you keep smiling and never face disappointments in life," Hasan texted her in Hindi.

She was also in contact with Danish while the operation was underway. However, probe revealed that Jyoti had allegedly deleted her chats with Danish in March this year.

Investigators are currently scanning her digital devices and financial records to determine whether her international travel was funded through covert means.
