The incident was caught on camera and the video is widely circulating on social media. It can be seen in the video that the furious man is standing besides his daughter and starts slapping the man, while a massive crowd has been gathered at the spot.
After publicly thrashing the youth, the girl dragged the pervert to the police station by holding him by his collar. The police is questioning the accused after taking him into custody.

Hamirpur police, reacting to the viral video on micro-blogging website X said, "On the basis of the complaint received from the applicant, the Kotwali Nagar Police Station has arrested the accused and registered a case under relevant sections and necessary legal action is being taken."
