Elico CFO Vanitha Datla named Telangana CII chairperson

Hyderabad: Vanitha Datla, Executive Director & CFO, Elico Ltd, has been nominated as the chairperson of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Telangana for the period up to March 2015.

J V Nrupender Rao, chairman, Pennar Group, has been nominated as the vice chairman, a CII statement said.
Datla is also Managing Director Elico Healthcare Services Ltd, a service provider to the health-care industry in countries like the USA, the Middle East and the UK.

Her Prior work experience includes a decade as Director, Finance, at Anjani Portland Cement Ltd and five years as Managing Director at Raasi Finance & Investment Ltd.

Rao is the promoter and chairman of Rs 1,400 crore Pennar Group and has rich and diverse experience in various organisations such as National Cash Register, the USA, Union Carbide India, Nagarjuna Group and the Pennar Group., the statement said.

Rao, an engineering graduate in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Purdue University, the statement added.
