Earthquake of magnitude 4.3 hits Andaman and Nicobar Island, no casualties reported

On Tuesday, a low intensity earthquake of magnitude 4.3 struck the Andaman and Nicobar Island. According to news agency ANI, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that the quake of magnitude 4.3 on the Richter scale struck Nicobar Islands.

The mild quake struck the region at 6:36 am. No casualty or damage to property has been reported so far. Further details about the quake are awaited.
