Amid COVID-19 concern, the Uttarakhand government on Sunday announced that the ongoing curfew in the state will be extended for another week till June 29. However, restrictions have been lifted on some activities and services.
Cabinet Minister Subodh Uniyal informed that Uttarakhand government has announced the extension of the COVID-19 curfew from June 22 to June 29 with certain relaxations.
As per the govt orders, following things will be allowed to remain open now:
The hotels and restaurants in the state have been allowed to operate in-dine services with 50 per cent of their seating capacity between 6 am and 10 pm.
Besides the bars will also be allowed to operate with 50 per cent capacity.
The markets will open five days a week, while lockdown will be in force during the weekend.
Shops will be allowed to open from 8 am to 5 pm.
Government offices as well as private offices can function with 50 per cent staff. Offices related to essential services can open with full capacity.
