The religious places in Rajasthan will reopen from Monday as the government has given some relaxations in lockdown. Markets are also allowed to open till 7 in the evening, although this time the government has made vaccination mandatory for all such relaxations.
The new guideline issued on Saturday for unlocking the state says that vaccination is the only effective way to prevent the state from the threat of new variants of the coronavirus. All further relaxations from restrictions imposed to curb the second wave of coronavirus in the state are now subject to vaccination of the persons working in shops, commercial establishments, religious places and offices.
Markets, commercial establishments, gyms, restaurants, where at least 60 per cent of the workforce has received at least the first dose of vaccine, will be allowed to stay open for additional 3 hours till 7 in the evening.
Wedding ceremonies will be allowed from July 1st with invitees of not more than 40. The ban on taking out marriage processions, holding feasts and disc jockeys will continue.
The offices will now be allowed to open till 6 pm. 100 per cent of staff will be allowed in offices where 60 per cent of the personnel have received the first dose of the vaccine. The weekend curfew of Sunday will continue till further orders.
It is to note that situation of Covid-19 infection is very much in control in the state as active cases are just 1839 and the number of new cases has reduced to an average of 130-140 a day. Although the government is on alert mode regarding the Delta Plus variant as one case of this new variant has been reported in Bikaner.
