Sambhal: A massive fire broke out at a house in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh on Thursday. The fire led to chaos in the entire area. The explosion took place due to a cylinder blast. No casualties were reported in the incident.
According to reports, a large amount of drums filled with flammable material were kept in the house, due to which the fire took a terrible form. The fire department team reached the spot, but it was not easy to control the fire. Along with the police team Sambhal CO Anuj Chaudhary rushed to the spot.
As soon as the CO started entering the house to save the people stuck there, a cylinder exploded again. The CO, surrounded by flames, ran away quickly and saved his life. A video of this entire incident has also surfaced. The fire broke out in a wedding house.
It is visible in the video, the CO first stood far away from other police officers and was monitoring the situation. After this he himself came forward and stood near the shutter of the house. He tried to go inside by pushing aside the fire with a stick. Other policemen were also with him. Then suddenly there was an explosion and smoke started coming out. Seeing this, the CO and other policemen ran backwards.
Sambhal Police Reacts
Reacting to the video of the incident on X, Sambhal police said, "The fire has been completely controlled by the local police and fire brigade, there is no loss of life. Senior officials have inspected the site of the incident. The causes of the incident are being investigated."
