Following CBSE's announcement, almost a dozen states including Maharashtra, Karnataka, Odisha have cancelled their Class 12 board exams. In light of this development, the schedule for entrance examinations to institutions across the country is expected to be decided soon.

While institutes like Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) and Symbiosis International have opted to conduct their respective entrance tests in online proctored mode, several others are yet to make a decision.

JEE Main

From this session, the JEE-Mains is being conducted four times a year to offer flexibility to students and a chance to improve their scores. The first phase in February was followed by the second in March, while the next phases were scheduled for April and May. However, they were postponed after an exponential rise in Covid cases during the second wave of the pandemic.

As per the latest update by PTI, The Ministry of Education will soon review the situation to decide on conducting the two remaining editions of engineering entrance exams JEE-Mains and medical entrance exam NEET in August.

JEE Advanced

The prestigious Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2021 test has been postponed in view of the coronavirus situation in the country.

Since the JEE Mains examination could not be held at the scheduled time (May 24-28), so the JEE Advanced examination, which was going to be held on July 3, has also been postponed, the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur announced.

NEET PG

The exam will be conducted in computer-based mode will not be held before August 31, 2021.

NEET UG

While no further decision was taken about NEET-UG, the registration for the exam which was supposed to commence from May 1 is expected to begin from the second week of June.

CUCET

The ministry is also yet to decide on the fate of the Central University Common Entrance Test (CUCET) and a decision in this regard is expected after the CBSE announces its alternative assessment criteria for class 12 boards.

WBJEE

The date for the West Bengal joint entrance exam has been announced—it will be held on 11 July 2021.

BITSAT

BITSAT 2021 exam has been postponed. The registration date has also been extended for the test till June 30, 2021. The BITSAT 2021 online examination that was scheduled from June 24 to June 29, 2021, has been postponed. The test will likely be conducted during July-August 2021.

TS EAMCET

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has released a timetable for the Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET). As per the schedule, common entrance tests will be held from July 5 to July 9.

The TS EAMCET exam for Agriculture and Medical stream is scheduled to be held on July 5 and July 6 whereas the exam dates for Engineering are July 7, July 8, and July 9. The exam will be conducted in two shifts, one in the morning from 9 AM to 12 PM and the afternoon shift from 3 PM to 6 PM.

TS EAMCET 2021 application deadline has been extended till June 3. The application form correction process for the exam will begin on June 4 and continue till June 11.

VITEEE

The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has announced the exam schedule for the VIT Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE) 2021. The exam will be conducted in online proctored mode from May 28, 29 and 31, 2021.

MET

Manipal Entrance Test (MET) for Btech programs will be held between June 11 - 14 and for BPharm / PharmD will commence from June 12. The exam will be proctored online.

KCET

The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) KCET 2021 which was scheduled to be held on July 07 and 08 has been postponed. The new date being 28,29,30 August.

SET

Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) will be conducted between 10-Jul-2021 to 13-Jul-2021 in an internet-based test mode.

KEAM

KEAM 2021 entrance exam date has been announced by CEE Kerala. The Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical entrance exam will be conducted on July 24, 2021.

MHT-CET

The application form for Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) will be released from May 2021 and the exam is likely to be conducted in August 2021. The exam date 2021 is presumed to be released in the 2nd week of June given the recent cancellation of Maharashtra HSC Exams 2021.

GCET

Goa Common Entrance Test 2021 (GCET) which was scheduled to be held in mid-June will now be conducted on 27-Jul-2021 and 28-Jul-2021.

NCHM JEE

NCHM JEE(National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Examination) which was earlier stated to be held on June 12 has been postponed due to COVID-19. The revised date will be announced soon. The applications have been extended till 20th June 2021.

UCEED

Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) was conducted on 17 January 2021.

NATA

The National Aptitude Test in Architecture(NATA) Test 1 exam has already been conducted. The date for Test 2 has been postponed to July 11.
