However, sometimes social media can land these youths in trouble. In a shocking incident, a simple comment on social media turned into a life-threatening incident in Dhamtari, Chhattisgarh. A young man identified as Sagar Sahu, was seriously injured when the brother of a girl attacked him with a knife over a casual comment on her Instagram reel.
Details About The Incident
The incident occurred in the Arjuni area of Dhamtari when Sagar commented “aise ka” (a casual phrase) on a reel posted by a girl on Instagram. While the comment was ordinary, the girl’s brother, Harsh Sahu, found it offensive.
Harsh called Sagar to meet him in person to discuss the matter. When Sagar arrived, Harsh wasn’t alone, he had 4-5 other boys accompanying him. Harsh started arguing with Sagar, demanding an explanation for the comment. An argument erupted between them over the explanation. Suddenly, Harsh pulled out a knife and attacked Sagar multiple times.
Sagar Suffered Serious Injuries
Sagar suffered severe injuries on his chest, waist and hands due to the knife attack. He was immediately rushed to the hospital nearby, where he is receiving treatment.
Police Action
The police registered a complaint in connection with the matter and initiated an investigation into the matter. Harsh and his group are currently on the run, but the police are actively searching for them. A case has been filed under charges of attempted murder and assault. The police have formed a team to nab all the accused.
