Chhattisgarh Assembly To Begin Debate On Governor’s Address Today

The Speaker Dr Raman Singh announced that the discussions will be held in the house on Governor’s address on February 27 and 28.

Debate on the Motion of Thanks to the Governor's address will commence in the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly on Thursday.

The Speaker Dr Raman Singh announced that the discussions will be held in the house on Governor’s address on February 27 and 28.

Question Hour will begin at 11 am on Thursday, followed by presentation from Forest Minister, Kedar Kashyap on the audit reports for 2023-24  related to the Chhattisgarh State Minor Forest Produce (Trading & Development) Co-operative Federation  Limited and for 2020-21 and 2021-22 of the Chhattisgarh Rajya Antavyasayi Sahkari Vitt evam Vikas Nigam.

MLAs Ajay Chandrakar, Umesh Patel, and Shakuntala Singh Porte will raise the issue of pending revenue department cases, meanwhile MLA Onkar Sahu will raise concerns about alleged irregularities at District Hospital Dhamtari.

Vikram Usendi, Chairman of the Committee on Private Members' Bills and Resolutions, will present the Committee's first report.

Following this, the debate on the Motion of Thanks to the Governor's address will begin, an official information said.
