Srinagar: At least six Indian Army Jawans were injured in an accidental landmine blast in Nowshera sector of Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district on Tuesday, claimed reports. The incident took place along the Line of Control (LoC).
The blast occurred after one of the soldiers accidentally stepped over a landmine, reported news agency PTI.
The mine blasted a personnel from the Gorkha Rifles were conducting a routine patrol near the Khamba Fort, reported India Today citing sources. The incident took place at around 10:45 am on Tuesday.
The injured were shifted to a hospital for treatment. Their condition is reported to be stable.

Earlier this month, an Indian Army truck carrying troops skidded off the road and tumbled down a hill in Jammu And Kashmir's Bandipore District resulting in death of at least four soldiers.
Last month, five soldiers were killed and as many others injured when an Army vehicle skidded off the road and rolled down a 300-feet deep gorge in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district.
