Former BJP MLA Anil Gote on Thursday alleged that BJP got Rs 20 crore from RKW Developers Ltd after 2014, which has alleged links with late Iqbal Memon, an accused in 1993 bomb blast in Mumbai and a former confidant of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim.
He further claimed that BJP received Rs 10 crore from RKW Developers in 2014-15 and another Rs 10 crore from other real estate developers, which used to buy and sell properties on behalf of Memon. These donations were received when Devendra Fadnavis was heading the BJP led government in the state .
Gote, who is a former BJP MLA but now with NCP has filed a complaint against the BJP and Fadnavis with the Enforcement Directorate. Gote told the Free Press Journal, ‘’ ED officers asked me how Fadnavis is connected in this case. I told them Fadnavis was the state Chief Minister and therefore it needs to be probed.’’
Gote said he will file complaints along with necessary proofs against BJP leaders every Tuesday with the ED to conduct investigations.
