Patna: The streets of state capital once again were rocked by protests as popular teacher and YouTuber educator Faizal Khan aka Khan Sir joined BPSC candidates in their march on Monday, demanding re-examination of the 70th BPSC combined preliminary competitive examination. Khan Sir said that the state government would be the biggest beneficiary if it conceded the demand of agitating BPSC candidates or else it would earn their wrath in the state assembly election, due in October-November this year. He had claimed on February 13 that he had found concrete evidence of irregularities in the BPSC examination. He also claimed that the examination papers were missing from the treasury of Nawada and Gaya, which were later sent to the Bapu examination centre in the state capital. These papers were to be sold as scrap, but on January 4, these papers were used in the examination due to which manipulation also happened in the examination result.
Noted educator claimed that he had a video of the exam scam, adding that he would submit all evidence related to the exam irregularities in the Patna High Court in this connection.
The High Court is also hearing a petition filed by former poll strategist Prashant Kishor`s Jan Suraaj Party (JSP) in this regard.
“Everyone knows that rigging has taken place. I even appeal to the police administration for cooperation. Now, the government will have to conduct a re-examination,” he added.
“We are not goons, so the police will not stop us. We will do whatever is needed for the children. If the government does not listen, we will definitely take to the streets. We are only fighting for the children," he contended.
Earlier too, Khan Sir had asserted that the government should be ready to face consequences if it did not meet BPSC candidates` demand of cancellation of the prelims and re-examination.
“After six months, the government will also be tested. If a decision is not taken in the interest of the students in time, its effect will be seen at the time of elections,” he added. He alleged that large scale corruption had happened, claiming that there was a game of thousands of crores of rupees in this.
