In a heartbreaking video that has come to light, a private tuition teacher in Bihar can be seen beating a child with a thick wooden stick. The boy can be heard crying out loud in pain. The incident took place in Dhanarua block in the state's capital Patna, and a video of the same has gone viral on social media.
The video shows the teacher first using a stick to beat the kid until it breaks and later slapping and punching him non-stop. The torture continues as the boy keeps crying and pleading with the teacher to stop.
The five-year-old boy reportedly lost consciousness after he was thrashed mercilessly and was admitted to the hospital by the locals.
The teacher, identified as Chotu, was caught by the locals while an investigation has been laucnhed into the matter.
Meanwhile, the owner of the coaching centre, Amarkant Kumar, said Chhotu did this because he suffers from high blood pressure.
