Bengaluru: The Silicon City of India woke up at 06:36 AM and the Sun is expected to set at 6:28 PM on Friday, February 28, 2025. The weather department has predicted light rainfall in some parts of Karnataka for the coming days. The minimum and maximum temperatures are expected between 19 degrees Celsius and 32 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Today's weather report
In February 2025, Bengaluru recorded unseasonably high temperatures, reaching up to 35 degrees Celsius, which is atypical for this time of year. Usually, the rise in temperature begins in March, shortly after the festival of Maha Shivratri.
However, this year, residents started experiencing the impact of heat waves from the end of January. Today, the humidity is expected to be around 64 per cent, and the wind is expected to blow steadily from the East at 16 km/h.
The Air Quality Index (AQI) is expected to stand at 89, which indicates fine air quality in the city and its adjoining areas. The Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) shared a weather report for the next five days on X and wrote, "Dry air conditions are likely across the state, and hot air and humid conditions are likely to prevail in Udupi, Dakshina Kannada and Uttara Kannada districts of Coastal Karnataka today and tomorrow."
Weather forecast for upcoming days
The IMD predicts mostly sunny weather for Saturday, March 1, 2025. The minimum and maximum temperatures will likely hover around 21 degrees Celsius and 31 degrees Celsius, respectively. The humidity is predicted to be around 72 per cent and the wind is expected to blow steadily from the East at 14 km/h.
