Bengaluru: The IT hub of India witnessed an unusual spell of rainfall on Sunday, January 19, 2025, which affected numerous regions of the city. 1.9mm of rainfall is recorded on Sunday. Today, the sun rose at 6:46 am and the sun is likely to at 6:15 pm. The minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to be around 14 degrees Celsius and 28 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, January 21.

Due to a shift in weather conditions as rainfall is expected in upcoming days. The humidity level is expected to range around 44 per cent. Today, the wind is expected to blow steadily from the East at a speed of 14 km/h, and the Air Quality Index (AQI) is expected to stand at 137, which indicates moderate air quality in the city and its adjoining areas.

The IMD predicted that the city will experience misty mornings and partly cloudy skies over the next week. The light rainfall on Sunday occurred due to the low pressure formed over the Southwest of the Bay of Bengal. However, the weather department has predicted no rainfall in the upcoming days.

The Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) shared a weather report on X and stated that scattered moderate rain is likely to occur in the southern interior, coastal and hilly districts of Karnataka. Dry air is likely to prevail in North Interior Karnataka.
