Bengaluru Weather Update: City To Experience Cloudy Skies On Tuesday; IMD Predicts Rainfall Until This Date

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted cloudy skies in the city on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. The IMD has also predicted rainfall in the city. The city is expected to witness sunset at 06:32 PM and the humidity is expected to be around 50 per cent.

Bengaluru: The city woke up at 06:11 AM with a partly cloudy sky this morning, and it is likely to remain the same throughout the day. The minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to range from 22 degrees Celsius in the morning and 33 degrees Celsius in the afternoon.

The city is expected to witness the sunset at 06:32 PM. The humidity is expected to be around 50 per cent. The wind is expected to blow from the East at 16 km/h. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted rainfall for several districts until April 13, 2025.

Rainfall is predicted in these regions

The state has been experiencing rising temperatures over the past few weeks. From today, the city is expected to experience pleasant weather conditions as light to moderate rainfall is predicted.

KSNDMC shared a weather report.

According to the weather department, light to moderate rainfall is predicted in regions, including Uttara Kannada, Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Bengaluru, Belagavi, Bagalkot, Dharwad, Koppal, Vijayapura, Chikkaballapur, Chikkamagluru, Mandya, Ramanagara, Hassan, Mysuru, Tumakuru, and Kodagu, among others.

The Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) shared a weather report for the next five days on X and wrote, "Thunderstorm, lightning is likely across the state today & tomorrow, scattered moderate rain over coastal, hilly and south interior districts. Moderate rain with scattered showers is likely over North Interior districts."

A yellow alert has been issued in these regions

The India Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in these regions, including coastal areas, North Interior Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. Today, the rainfall is likely to occur in these regions and it will be accompanied by gusty winds, lightning and thunderstorms.
