Nandyal: Andhra Pradesh Minister Janardhan Reddy's brother, Madana Bhupal Reddy, allegedly slapped an on-duty constable in Nandyal district. The incident, which took place in Banaganapalli town, was captured on camera, and the video surfaced on Thursday.

The video shows a heated argument between Mandana Bhupal Reddy and the constable, named Jaswanth. Soon, the matter escalated, and the Andhra Pradesh minister's brother could be seen slapping the constable in the viral video.

Video Of The Incident:

Other people accompanying Madana Bhupal Reddy attempted to intervene and were seen trying to calm down the minister's brother. After Madana Bhupal slapped Jaswanth, another constable came to the support of his colleague.

Some social media posts even claimed that the minister's brother also abused the constable. However, the FPJ could not verify the authenticity of the viral video and the social media claims.

The exact reason which led to the heated argument between the two is not known yet.

Bobbala Chinnolla Janardhan Reddy has been a member of the Telugu Desam Party since 2014. He is the MLA of Banaganapalle. At present, he is the Minister of Roads & Buildings and Infrastructure and Investments.

BJP MLA Slaps On-Duty Official:

A similar incident took place last year in June, where Pune Cantonment's BJP MLA, Sunil Kamble reportedly slapped a police official and assaulted NCP leader Jitendra Satav during the Sassoon Hospital's transgender ward inauguration. The incident allegedly unfolded as Kamble, visibly frustrated for not having his name on the inauguration board, unleashed his anger. Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar slammed the leader by sharing a video implicating Kamble in assaulting an on-duty cop.
