Details On The Horrifying Incident

A 35-year-old woman tragically lost her life, and her eight-year-old son was hospitalized following a stampede during an event for actor Allu Arjun’s upcoming film at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad on the night of December 4. The incident occurred when a large crowd of fans gathered to catch a glimpse of the Telugu superstar.

The Hyderabad police have registered a case against Allu Arjun, his security team and the theatre management at the Chikkadpally police station. The charges were filed under sections 105 and 118(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) based on a complaint lodged by the deceased woman’s family.

According to reports, the stampede resulted from poor crowd management and a lack of safety measures at the venue, leading to chaos. While the mother succumbed to her injuries, her son is currently undergoing treatment and is said to be in stable condition.

In response to the case, Allu Arjun filed a petition with the Telangana High Court on December 11, seeking to quash the FIR registered against him.
