New Delhi : Taking a jibe at the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) over the infighting within its ranks, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday said it has become ‘Arvind Alone Party’.

BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said there is chaos and anarchy in the Aam Aadmi Party.

“The frustration of the AAP is very evident, all is not well within their own house. Of late, we have seen how the AAP has become Arvind Alone Party and that is the reason why a number of tall leaders of the AAP like Shazia Ilmi have quit the party,” said BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra.

“We see that there is a discontent among the leaders of AAP. So, I believe what we are hearing today is only because of the fact that there is chaos and anarchy in the AAP organisation,” he added.

When asked to comment on AAP leader Kumar Vishwas’s praise for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Patra said, “It is natural that a person like Narendra Modi will receive praises from all sectors and all parties. It’s not just Kumar Vishwas who is praising Narendra Modi, even Digvijay Singh and Gulam Nabi Azaad from the Congress have praised the Prime Minister.”

“A good man cannot be criticized for long, at the end of the day truth must be accepted by everyone and that is what the Congress and the AAP is doing,” he added.

According to reports, Vishwas had described Prime Minister Modi as a pro-active leader. He has also said his praise should not be seen as inappropriate, despite their membership of rival parties.
