Lucknow: A 30-year-old teacher was today shot dead allegedly by some people in Kotwali area of Ghazipur district, police said here.
Jamwant Prasad Yadav was shot dead by Virendra Yadav and 11 others in Chavani Line while he was going to give tutions, IG (law and order) Amrendra Singh Sengar said.
He said Yadav taught at a college.
The IG said a case has been lodged in this regard. Six persons have been named while there are six unnamed persons.
