12-yr-old boy shot dead by younger brother

Aizawl: A 12-year-old boy was accidentally shot dead by his younger brother with their father’s hunting gun in Serchhip district of Mizoram, a police officer said today.

R C Lalchuangkima of East Lungdar village, after returning from the jungle, left his loaded gun near fire place in his home last night, which was picked up by his son John Kennedy (8) who accidentally shot his elder brother, David Lalengzuala, with it.

Lalengzuala’s head was practically blown off by the bullets, the police officer said.
