Google releases Maps iOS update to share location on Facebook

Washington : Google has launched an update of its Maps for iOS devices that allows the users to share their location to other apps like Facebook and its Messenger, reports ANI.

According to thenextweb.com, the new feature is part of Google Maps version 4.8.0 which will now make it much easier to send a pin to someone who is on their desktop computer. The users can also broadcast their location to their friends or target it to a specific group. However, it does not allow the users to post pins directly in events.
