Bhubaneswar: Maoist guerrillas killed a tribal man in Odisha by slitting his throat after accusing him of being a police informer, an official said Tuesday.

The murder took place late Monday in Padia area of the Malkangiri district, over 700 km from here, Inspector General of Police Yashwant Jethwa told IANS.

Two armed rebels dragged Munna Madhi, 21, a tribal from his home at Irbanpali village and killed him by slitting his throat with a sharp weapon, Jethwa said.
