New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Ravi Shankar Prasad on Monday said the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) should fulfill their promise to take action against corruption and should have the courage to probe into the Commonwealth Games scam, with the support of Congress.

“I would like to wish him luck Also, I would like him to fulfill all his promises including, claim to take against corruption. I would like him to take action against corruption involved in the Commonwealth scam,” he said.

“I hope Kejriwal as a chief minister, taking the support of Congress, would show the courage to take action. Otherwise it would prove, as apprehended earlier, that the AAP is team B of the Congress,” he added.

BJP leader Vijay Goel said that AAP’s reputation would definitely be affected by their decision to form a government in Delhi with the support of Congress

They had claimed that they would neither give nor take support from the Congress. They even called them a two-headed snake. It will definitely affect their reputation, said Goel.

“But still if they have taken a decision they should live up to the people’s expectations.
We will be in the opposition and we will support them in all their good works, but we will surely exert pressure when there is a delay or misconduct,” he said.

BJP leader V.K Malhotra said it was evident that AAP would form the government with the support of Congress.

“It was evident that AAP will form govt. when Congress offered support. They have fought against Congress and now are joining with them to form the government. We will see how they will run the government,” said Malhotra.
