Homely weekends

I am a person who loves living alone and somebody who doesn’t have many friends because I am not a socialite. On weekends I like watching Netflix, meditating, visiting heritages places, old temples. I am into history a lot and I love ancient things. I sometimes goggle about new concepts since I write about sci-fi concepts. I also go for massage during weekends, as I am a big massage addict.

Ideal break

My ideal weekend would be something like sitting on the beach, having a nice massage, writing new concepts, watching Netflix, eating good food and just chilling. To be honest, I can take massages for hours and hours!

Basketball person

Yes, I play basketball and it’s something that is always on my chart. I can keep playing that sport because I love it. I go trekking as well. As far as hobbies are concerned, I am into car-racing too. I also practice Nunchucks—it’s a weapon and I like learning how to use new weapons.

Feasting time

I am a pizza lover, so my cheat days always have pizza. I love my pizzas from Pali Village Café and Indigo Delicatessen since I am very picky about them and I have them only with tabasco and chili pepper. I also need a glass of red wine, followed by chocolate molten sizzling brownie.

Dreamy days

I am into flowers a lot. I love them and especially roses. So, I plant flowers very often and that’s my stress-buster. I go to the market to buy flowers and come back home to decorate my house with the flowers. Besides meditating I also like to look at the stars and I can just sit and star gaze endlessly. And that could be because I am a science student. I really wanted to become an astronaut, at one point. I am not a big music person but I like listening to original soundtracks—something that has only music. My favourite original soundtrack is of the films including The Notebook, Perfume and Memoirs of Geisha. I am into candles as well. I light them up, talk to myself, and look at the stars while listening to my favourite soundtracks.

Spiritual bliss

At least thrice a month I go for short trips. You won’t believe it but I have a habit of connecting science with spirituality so, I do like to go to old temples a lot. Whenever I get the time, I visit ancient holy places because I am someone who is always looking for peace. For example, last time I went to Trimbakeshwar.

Special moments

I had gone to Machan in Lonavala. Though I was shooting there they have these wooden houses and I had my own machan and balcony all to myself. It was so chilled out there and I couldn’t see any human there…it was jungle all around and all I could hear was the sound of birds chirping, which was so beautiful. And again, I did the same thing—I started playing meditation music on my phone and then I just lay down to star gaze. The very next morning I went for a massage as well. I want to visit that place again at the earliest because such quiet spots drive me crazy—in a good way! So, mountains, hills, beaches are always on top of my list. I don’t like clubbing, as I don’t like loud noises or things. I prefer my own space and ‘saint’ kind of things make my day.
