Nirma

‘Hema, Rekha, Jaya and Sushma, sabki pasand Nirma’, this jingle of washing powder Nirma has to be on the number one in the list. The brand a few years ago came up with a new ad film, portraying a more fresh approach using the same jingle. The ad film shows an ambulance stuck in a muddy puddle and four ladies dressed in white enters pushes the van from the puddle.

Nerolac

‘Jab ghar ki raunak badhani ho, deewaro ko jab sajana ho..Nerolac..Nerolac’ is what the jingle’s lyrics were. The brand keeps relaunching the jingle every few years makes its popularity quite clear.

Amul

We must agree to the fact that Amul has always impressed us with its advertisements. The Amul girl still entertains us with its advertisements that have a lot of humour. And this advertisement was our favourite with Rajasthani folk song in the background and the song’s strong message that plays around women empowerment.

Bajaj

The jingle ‘Humara Bajaj’ was sort of an anthem when it was released in 1989. The advertisement beautifully depicted the life of a middle class family and that was the reason behind its instant relatability. It was the era when having your own motorcycle was a matter of pride.

Lijjat Papad

The advertisement was definitely a boost to the SME industry in India. The homemade papads’ advertisment celebrated the women work force in the 90s. The advertisement featured bunny rabbit puppets that showcased the crunchiness the papad had.

‘Vicco Tumeric, nahi cosmetic..’ takes us on a nostalgia trip. Vicco Turmeric is the brand that gave ‘ayurvedic cream’ a glamourous face. The brand still uses the same jingle till date.

Action School Time

‘School time, Action ka school time’ is a catchy jingle that was responsible for increasing the sale of the shoe brand. The ad featured a boy who is excited for the first day of school and the reason is his new school shoes.

Close Up

The advertisement was fun to watch and listen to. It featured a guy trying to impress a girl and thanks to the help Closeup provides him, he succeeds in doing so. To add to the film is the song sung by the singer in the background.

Maggi

Maggi has always been a household name thanks to its ‘2-minute’ pitch. The advertisement featured kids asking their mothers to make Maggi for them, and thus began the brand’s journey of becoming the most popular noodles brand in India.
