Unlike Alia Bhatt, ‘Aashiqui 2’ fame actress Shraddha Kapoor says that is not yet ready to move out of her family home. It’s known that ‘Highway’ actress Alia Bhatt is looking for her own pad. But when Shraddha was asked if too has plans to move out and live on her own, the domesticated actress said that she now has a larger space and more privacy in her house with no plans of moving out!
Shraddha said, “There is no way I can ever move out of my home. I am too attached to my family. But yes, now my living space has been made larger and I’ve my own exit and entrance so that my parents don’t get disturbed by my odd hours.”
Meanwhile Shraddha, who was last seen in Mohit Suri’s Rs.100 crore-earning film ‘Ek Villain’, is currently looking forward to her next release ‘Haider’. Talking about getting a role in Vishal Bharadwaj’s much-awaited film Shraddha said, “Vishal Sir had offered me the role because he felt I suited the character. When we met, he said something beautiful to me. ‘Tumse behtar Arshia toh mujhe mil hi nahin sakti’. I was overwhelmed.”
She further added saying that ‘Haider’ has been a life changing experience for her. “When I did the role I felt Kashmiri. I was so comfortable in Kashmir and as a Kashmiri. Vishal Sir was on my wish-list of directors. Another director I really want to work with is Mr Sanjay Leela Bhansali,” said the actress.
But it seems, with two of her films doing well at the box office in the past Shraddha is turning down roles too pretty frequently now. She admitted to it reasoning, “I’ve no choice but to be very selective. People have so many expectations from me now, it’s scary. I want to be known as a versatile actress. I want to be like clay that can be moulded into character. That’s what every actor aspires to, right?” Right!
