Kangana has again taken a potshot at Hrithik Roshan, something which she is doing from the past two years and considering her graph she may continue to do so for a long time.
It so happened that a dialogue from Manikarnika which goes as “Jhansi aap bhi chahte hai aur mein bhi, fark sirf itna hai, aapko raj karna hai, aur mujhe apno ki seva.” has kept tongues wagging as the line is too similar to that of Hrithik Roshan’s dialogue from the film Mohenjo Daro which goes as “Antar hai Maham, tu Mohenjo Daro pe raaj karna chahta hai aur main seva.”
When the actress was quizzed about the similarity, Kangana said or rather questioned, “Who saw that film (Mohenjo Daro)?” Manikarnika was recently in news when Kangana stated that she is receiving threats from Karni Sena for the film and how she is not afraid of the threats. However Karni Sena denied any such thing and stated that they never called Kangana and it’s just a publicity stunt from the actress’ side to promote her film.
Reflecting on Kangana’s statement, Ajay Singh Sengar, president of Maharashtra Karni Sena said, “If she continues to threaten the members of our outfit, we will not let her walk freely in Maharashtra and will burn her film sets.” He also claimed that if the film, in any way, insults the queen of Jhansi, the Hindu society will not forgive her.
Manikarnika is all set to release in theatres on January 25 and will lock horns with Thackeray biopic starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
